The Inca constructions called Chachabamba are formed by enclosures, open spaces, and platforms constructed in harmonious forms that incorporate open and closed spaces. Three ceremonial sites are on each side; the whole group is a central element of an ancient Waka (ceremonial Inca stone).


From here, we take a slow ascent route showing an impressive landscape with a change of ecological levels. The mountains and the murmur of the Vilcanota River dominate the route.
